A Fast, Safe Acne Cure

Acne Cure

Acne, the bane of existence for many teenagers and adults, has just met its match. For years, people have thought acne was something they had to endure until they outgrew it--if they outgrew it. But a long-time acne sufferer, Chris Gibson, decided it was time to come up with a solution: Acne Free in 3 Days, a program that uses natural home remedies to get rid of acne quickly and safely.

Gibson says, "I was a chronic cystic acne sufferer for many years searching for a way to end my skin problems that caused me embarrassment and a whole lot of pain." For ten years, he tried creams, antibiotics, and medicines prescribed by dermatologists, all to no avail. He decided to start researching the subject of acne on his own. In the process, he stumbled across some natural, inexpensive home remedies that began clearing up his acne in mere days.

Gibson says his excitement over finally figuring out how to get rid of his own acne made him want to share his knowledge with other acne-sufferers. "I finally had the clear skin that I had always wanted, and my confidence and self-esteem went through the roof!" So he wrote his story and detailed his program, he says, so others could take control of their skin problems themselves and take care of them inexpensively at home.

Gibson says he tried everything to get rid of his acne--lotions, pills, creams, antibiotics, even drugs prescribed by dermatologists, such as Accutane. None worked for him. Furthermore, he says, the drugs often had bad side effects that actually worsened his acne. When Gibson found some safe home remedies that worked, he also discovered that he had been doing things that contributed to his acne. His research then turned to acne prevention. He says that he wants to teach people the negative things they "are doing that contribute to chronic acne and what simple steps to take to stop them."

Since the publication of his book, Acne Free in 3 Days, Gibson has been featured in radio and television interviews. A review by The Birmingham Times newspaper has this to say: "When you read this book, you will be amazingly surprised at the easy-to-do solutions he has to get rid of your acne problem. Author Chris Gibson's groundbreaking rule book can dramatically change the life of anyone living with the effects of acne..." Additionally, over 30 people have submitted their testimonials after using the program on Gibson's website, www.acnefreein3days.com.

With Acne Free in 3 Days, acne-sufferers have a resource they can begin using today to improve their appearance and self-esteem for good.

Four More Acne Cures

Acne Cure

Teenagers and many adults alike face the issue of acne. In a previous article, four methods for acne treatment and acne prevention were discussed. Those methods are drinking plenty of water, eating fruits and vegetables, avoiding high-calorie foods, and avoiding hand-to-face contact. Here are four more acne cures.

1. Exercise regularly.
Acne is caused by your skin pores being clogged with oil and dirt so that bacteria can come in and infect your skin. Exercise helps to treat and prevent acne by getting your blood flowing so that oxygen gets delivered all over your body, including your skin. Blood also takes wastes away from your body, including excess oil that can help create acne. After exercising, be sure to wash your face, neck, and back (if you have acne there) thoroughly to get rid of excess oil and perspiration.

2. Wash your skin properly.
This means not only washing your face two to three times daily, but it also means washing your face by gently rotating your hands, lathered with facial cleanser, in a circular fashion. Don't scrub vigorously and don't use face cloths because they can irritate the skin. Skin irritation can cause more breakouts. Rinse well with warm water and gently pat your face dry with a clean, soft towel.

3. Reduce stress.
People often notice that they have more breakouts during times of stress, like studying for exams or worrying about upcoming events. Reducing stress can help reduce your acne. Stress causes your hormone production to increase. When hormones are stimulated, they can cause more oil production, resulting in acne. You can reduce your stress by listening to quiet music, taking a walk, or meditating.

4. Get plenty of sleep.
It's important to get at least 8 hours of restful sleep every night. When your sleep cycle gets disturbed, hormone production increases, stimulating the production of oil and increasing acne. So be sure to give your body the sleep it needs.

Four Cures for Acne

Acne Cure

Many teenagers and adults have challenges with acne. Besides being damaging physically, acne can have a very negative effect on a person's self-esteem. Here are four easy cures for teenage and adult acne.

1. Keep your hands away from your face.
Acne is caused by clogged pores being infected with bacteria. With all the things that your hands touch during the day, your hands are among the dirtiest parts of your body. One simple way to prevent acne is to keep your hands away from your face. Even a simple action like stroking your chin when you're thinking, or resting your hand against your cheek when you're bored or watching TV, can increase your acne. So it's important to keep your hands away from your face.

2. Drink plenty of water.
Your body is made mostly of water. Water has many important functions in your body. One of them is to flush dirt, poisons, and impurities from your body. So it's very important to drink as much water as possible. You should drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of water. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, then drink 75 ounces of water--roughly 9 glasses--every day. Water will help get rid of dirt that clogs your pores, thus increasing your chances for acne.

3. Stay away from high-calorie foods.
Another effective acne treatment is eating a healthy diet. Eating high-fat and high-sugar foods increases your hormone production. When this happens, more oil is produced in your skin, which leads to clogged pores. Clogged pores causes acne. So a good way to help prevent acne is to cut out the high-calorie foods.

4. Eat plenty of the right kinds of foods.
When it comes to preventing acne, fruits and vegetables are helpful because they are low in sugar and in fat. This means that they don't stimulate as much hormone production as high-calorie foods, thus helping to prevent the clogging of pores that leads to acne.

Acne Cure

It seems like so many people, teenagers and adults alike, are looking for a magic acne cure. In my 30+ years of battling acne, I have been more successful when I treat it from the inside out. My acne cure, then, is not a medicine or a messy cream. They don't work for me. Instead, my acne cure is a natural, holistic cure that treats--and beats!--acne from the inside out.
